The City We Want: Co-creating Resilient Cities with Young Innovators

  • THINK Education 46-52 Mountain Street Ultimo, NSW, 2007 Australia (map)

An increasingly urbanised society, globalisation and automation are challenging traditional models of consumption and work, and a new story is emerging. The future is one where the new economy builds on the power of community, collaboration and living consciously.

This one day workshop will explore the big questions: How do we make a city a place for all that is affordable and inclusive? How can we redesign our cities to make them meaningful places where we can live and thrive? How can young innovators influence city-making?

Facilitated by YLab (a new social enterprise of the Foundation for Young Australians), the day will be led by a range of young local visionaries and industry leaders. And work through a co-design methodology informed by experts in sustainability and infrastructure, tactical urbanism, and local community development.

Don't miss the chance to be part of an inspiring and highly participatory day full of talks, workshops, exercises, and fun.

This event is part of Vivid Sydney and is presented by Foundation for Young Australians in partnership with City of Sydney.
