  • Casula Powerhouse 1 Powerhouse Rd Casula 2170 Australia (map)

This landmark exhibition showcases 22 world-renowned artists with refugee roots, including Yoko Ono, Ai Weiwei, Max Ernst and Marc Chagall.

The collection features more than 65 works gathered from major public and private collections across Australia, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, ceramic, textile, installation and print. These will appear alongside new works by Australian artists Guo Jian and Ah Xian, which were commissioned for the exhibition.

The exhibition speaks to the current issues surrounding refugees and asylum seekers in Australia and abroad, seeking to address the perceived lack of compassion  amongst Australians.
